Philip Philip Mitchell Alumni Service Award

The Philip Philip Mitchell Alumni Service Award recognizes an individual who has significantly contributed in the area of public service by sharing or volunteering his or her talent, time, and resources on behalf of the University.

Number of Awards
One per year.

Criteria

  • Open to all graduates and friends of the University, excluding current members of the Board of Trustees.
  • Significant contribution in the area of public service.
  • Share or volunteer his or her talent, time, and resources on behalf of the University.


Nominations
Nominations are solicited from the college and campus constituent societies, directors of university relations, directors of alumni relations, liaisons, Alumni Council, Alumni Association staff, Alumni Admissions Office, and affiliate group leaders.

Selecting Body
The Awards Committee of Alumni Council.

Timeline
Nominations are typically due in early March (please refer to the timeline information for the official nomination deadline date). 

Recipients are honored at a special awards recognition ceremony during the summer Alumni Leadership Connections Conference (Jul/Aug).
